 Description of CMS Dew Power functionality

Administration

Make a shared access to the site management! There are three different levels of site administration and editing: Supervisor can add or delete Administrators, specify the access level, edit the contents and structure of the website. Manager can edit the contents and structure, Content Manager has got only an access to edit the contents.

By failure to mention the Administrators have access to all sections of the site. However, in case of access limit to the certain sections the Supervisor can specify the active sections for the Manager and Content Manager. Thus, each manager can edit only certain information.

Structure

Create a convenient system of site navigation. You can add, edit and delete sections and subsections of the site. For each section it is possible to set the certain pattern type: text page, news, catalogue and so on.

Contents

Update and edit the contents of the website pages within few minutes! "Contents" module consists of a visual HTML-editor and a set of PHP-scripts to save changes in the database. The visual editor with clear interface (as in MS Word) enables to edit texts and tables. Any user familiar with computer basics can quickly master it. It has never been so easy to edit the site contents! With the help of the editor you can also insert images, flash animation, links and any files into the web pages.

Search engine optimization

To attract users to your website it should be noticeable for search engine systems. Optimize headlines, key words, page descriptions and other meta-tags (parts of the code with catching words first to be paid attention to by the search engines).

Form designer

Language versions

The Administrator can specify the complete name of the language version, brief name for a link and necessary page coding.

In this module there is also a device allowing setting names of all service variables for any language version. For instance, for the Russian version the link “next” on the page is renamed into “далее”, link “month” into “месяц” and so on.

Information (advertising) blocks

With the help of information blocks you can advertise goods and services on any site page inform visitors about ads campaigns, sales, and discounts and also highlight any useful information! You can insert blocks into the patterns serving as links to certain site pages and containing text and images.  Dew Power offers two types of information blocks: graphic and contextual.

For graphic blocks the Administrator can set:

•    loading of banner as a code
•    link with the choice of function (_blank, _top, _self)
•    link to site section/sub-section
•    rotation type (on main, internal pages, everywhere, nowhere).

For contextual blocks the Administrator can set:

•    place of display
•    an opportunity to type and edit texts
•    loading of banner as a code
•    rotation type (on main, internal pages, everywhere, nowhere).

News

Publish and update news on your site! “News” module consists of two patterns: news line and complete version of the news. The news line contains headings and summary of the news. The amount of news on the page is set by the Administrator. The complete version of the news can contain images, links and attached files.

Newsletter mailing

Site users can subscribe to newsletter mailing and receive news about your company to their e-mail boxes. They also have an opportunity to refuse receiving the mailing. Thus, the newsletter mailing to this e-mail address is blocked, but the e-address is not removed from the mailing list. The site Administrator can edit the list of active and non-active newsletter subscribers, add new e-mail addresses, and remove e-addresses from one list to another. 


Search

Site visitors can quickly and easily find the required info on your site. The search can be conducted both on the whole site and in certain sections. It is possible to limit certain areas for search. The search result is displayed on a separate page. If the amount of results exceeds the set value, then there appears an additional navigating panel for browsing to other search pages. 

Goods catalogue

Create an online catalogue of your goods and services. There you can specify different goods categories, list of goods and search on various characteristics. The goods can be displayed together with its image, description and prices. You can set the main currency and converting rate as well as add additional fields, info on the rests in the warehouse (actual, minimal) and discounts into the goods description.  

Cart

Customers of your online shop can store the chosen goods in the virtual cart. The cart shows the amount, names and characteristics of the chosen goods.  The info about each order is kept while you are on the site.

Goods order

Clients can pay your services and goods online! Create a real online shop with facility to draw up and pay bills on-line. Dew Power offers 2 types of payment processing: Standard and Payment system:

Standard enables to collect information about the customers step-by-step: kind of payment, type, time and destination of delivery. This service is ideal for sites lacking commercial accounts in payment systems or for companies unable to open such an account.   

Payment system enables to integrate a catalogue and a cart with any electronic payment system. The goods or services can be paid online by e-payment means.

Voting

Site visitors can express their opinion on your burning issues! With the help of this module you can publish different topics for voting and manage the question list. There is also a possibility to show the statistics of answers.

Authorization

Open an authorized access to the certain areas of the site. To become an authorized user you should log in. As soon as the user fills the log-in and password in the authorization form he or she gets down into the user’s interface. In case of lost of the log-in or password the user can restore it by its e-mail address stated during registration.

Statistics

Get a detailed report on visits of your site and how users behaved while surfing it. You can study the statistics of the site visits for the certain period of time, which web pages interested users more, the route of searching by key words, downloaded files, used browsers and working screen resolution.  

Fast navigation on the site

The more convenient website, the more valuable and useful it is for users. The dropping out list of sections represents the whole structure of the site. If there are several language versions on the site, the navigation is conducted within the current version.

Site map

With the help of the site map users can see the contents of your site on one page. The site map is created automatically on the base of existing web pages taking into account the subsection nesting. When creating or deleting pages the site map is a subject of change. To browse to the required page you should simply click the point in the list. 

Files import/export

Provide users with access to a large volume of table info. Import of text and numeric data from .excel, .txt and other files, its synchronization with the system will enable users quickly to find the required models of the production and other detailed info in the database.
